Rafale windbreaker sewing pattern - Pouch pattern

The RAFALE windbreaker combines the classic, timeless lines of an outer garment with Maison Fauve's signature attention to detail. The face is well protected by a lined hood adorned with a small visor and secured with a drawstring.

The cut is structured by carefully crafted seams and panels, an impeccably tailored sleeve accentuated by small darts, a large kangaroo pocket with a trompe-l'oeil flap (you can slip your hands inside but not open the pocket from the top), and a comfortable length. Practical and stylish, it can be reinvented according to your fabric choices and outfits.

Sewing level : ADVANCED . The pattern's technical aspects include: creating French seams and flat-felled seams, inserting an invisible zipper, attaching elastic, and sewing curved areas and darts. The pattern doesn't present any major technical difficulties, but it does have many pattern pieces.

• 1 invisible 40cm zip

• 5 buttons, approximately 12 mm in diameter

• 35 cm of G700 type fusible interfacing

• 2 x 30 cm lengths of elastic, 2 cm high

Soft, lightweight fabrics between 70 and 200g/m², such as thin denim, thin coated or water-repellent fabrics, but also fine gabardine, medium-weight twill, and cotton sateen. For the hood lining, cotton voile will be the most comfortable.

The pattern does not include a lining, the interior finishes are impeccable thanks to the French and flat-felled seams.
