Suzie in leopard...

Good morning!

The Suzie skirt is the latest addition to the "Sew me tender" collection. Presented at the CSF this winter, I didn't really have the opportunity to present it to you, caught up in the whirlwind of the show, then the winter holidays, and the unexpected Créativa show in Montpellier at the beginning of the year, and the preparation of the new collection.....well, I dragged my feet!

So, girls, I present to you Suzie, pretty all dressed in leopard!

The graou pattern is a recurring fashion trend, but we can say that this winter there was an avalanche of wild animals! And this very beautiful fabric from The Sweet Mercerie had the perfect drape for my pattern (a very fine and supple scuba knit), especially since I wanted to make the "midi" version of the pattern (leopard pattern on a mini skirt, I admit I don't assume...).

The high waist highlighted by pretty gold buttons, for a cut that looks back to the 70s, with its pleats in front and its slightly flared line, I find my Suzie really very feminine and I think it's a very flattering skirt shape.

But ultra femininity sometimes needs to be soothed...So I chose to present the model to you with 2 looks.

First of all, a pretty lady-like look, with pumps, a little silk camisole and my pretty Camélia jacket (with its leopard inlay that matches the patterns of the skirt). It's a dressed-up silhouette, a little too much for me: heels + mid-calf skirt + short jacket combo... I don't work in a profession where this type of outfit is sought after and I don't really recognize myself in it. But I still wanted to show you this interpretation ;)

The second look is more sporty: thin, slightly technical tennis shoes and a black turtleneck. To say that it is a casual outfit would be a bit of a stretch, the skirt is strong and defines a style that is always feminine. But a sporty, very comfortable femininity. A bit like New York...from Lansargues ;)

2 looks, 2 attitudes, and the same skirt that I really, really like.

And you, what is your favorite outfit? Is the tennis/skirt combo a usual outfit or for you nothing beats being perched on pretty heels?

See you soon!
