Sailor in Saint Tropez
Good morning!
I've been studious with the blog lately, it's really cool to be able to find the time to show you my sewing again!
And it's one of your mega favorites from the Sew me Tender collection that I'm presenting to you today: the Sailor overalls , pants version, in a navy blue gingham denim fabric from Pretty Mercerie .
It's been waiting to be cut for a while, and I bought it for my overalls. After the Prince of Wales version that I wear very often, and my pink comforter that I love, this very summery print will accompany me for the return of the beautiful days.
This little Vichy invariably takes me back to the beautiful BB period of Saint Tropez (hence this very misleading article title...no no I didn't go and shoot photos on the Côte d'Azur ;) ).
And in terms of looks, as much as the Suzie Leopard skirt goes well with sneakers, here I wanted to take a step up. A pretty pair of heeled sandals, a little lace top, I like to play with the contrasts between the marked femininity of certain elements of the outfit with a more casual piece, so here my friend Sailor.
And I can already see myself varying the pleasures with flat sandals (tropéziennes hihihi) and a little top. Nothing more to tell you about my overalls, I still love their pretty bows and good comfort level it's really an easy piece to wear. The small decorative buttons structure the front, but I've seen versions without buttons on IG and they're very pretty too.
My next Sailor will be a short version, but in what fabric I don't know yet...have a nice day!
