Summer sewing for a well-dressed summer!
Summer is almost here.... Long live little dresses and quick-to-sew tops!!!
To celebrate the arrival of summer a little early (just enough to sew a little top for June 21st ;) ) I have prepared a selection of very summery models for you.
And to spoil you as my favorite season approaches, we are offering you a PDF pattern of your choice for any purchase on our site until June 30! All you have to do is enter the code DIABOLOFAUVE (yes, a little fresh thing, that sparkles on the tongue, I found it cute!). I put HERE the link to the PDF store, and I tell you throughout this article which model is also available in this format.
HERE WE GO FOR THE DETAILED REVIEW OF OUR “PLEIN SOLEIL” PATTERNS

- Zenith, which lives up to its name with its sun pleats on the front bust (the pattern is also available in a blouse version and several sleeve finishes)

What's better than shorts or a skirt in the middle of summer, and whether you're wearing sandals or pretty heels, our models will follow you at all hours of the day and night, on the beach as well as when you go out:
- the Pippa shorts, our poum poum shorts at Maison fauve, which beautifully reveal the leg thanks to its cutouts on the front
available in pdf only
- Belem, the new kid, available in pants, but very easy to transform into shorts thanks to our video tutorial
- the Highland skirt, which can be sewn in a more modest and shorter version with 2 flounces or in a truly spectacular and long version with 3 flounces
And just because we're celebrating summer doesn't mean a little jacket isn't necessary for evenings by the sea ;)
Here is our selection of our prettiest mid-season jackets:
- Isfahan, our little gem from the new collection
- the legendary Sable jacket, very easy to sew, perfect for gently starting lined jackets
- the Sunset jacket, which is unlike any other with its high collar, piped pockets, buttoned tabs at the bottom of the sleeves and its zip under flap
- the beautiful Criollo, an unlined jacket that is just perfect with its belt loops and its little collar (and cannon belted by a beautiful scarf)
This little review of our patterns is of course not exhaustive, the beautiful Tamara dress is a jewel, a pretty Niki dress or a great pair of Hussard jeans will be perfect for a summer in a region as hot as my pretty South, a Tsar trench coat will not be too much if you go for a walk this summer in Scotland... In short, the summer will be hot or less hot, but you will always be the queen in your hand-sewn wardrobe!
Nice evening!
