Good morning!
If I have a real love for printed fabrics, embroidery, jacquards (in short, discretion...) I must admit that a beautiful piece sometimes deserves to be simplified a little. And if a model meets this expectation well, it is
the beautiful Atlas blouse . With its very worked pleats on the front of the garment, but also on the cuffs of the long-sleeved version, this pattern was really worth presenting in plain.
And it's done thanks to Mathilde from Chez Mamie mercerie ! She very kindly offered me some magnificent fabrics especially for this purpose, and it's a 100% Mamie outfit that I'm wearing: my Atlas blouse in white tencel and my Belem shorts in washed cotton in cognac color. I found that the combination of the two items of clothing, in these less flashy materials, had a chic and timeless side that would mean that I would never get tired of wearing them, together but also separately.
Worn quickly tucked into shorts, a little nonchalantly, or out to really highlight the line of the blouse, Atal in this fabric (a tencel) really has a nice suppleness, but also a little thickness and this gives a really beautiful drape to the model.
For the shorts, the washed cotton has a less dressed-up side which "relaxs" the pattern a little, and again a lot of comfort and a very nice drape.
I'm totally a fan of this outfit, and I plan to wear these two pieces very often, which will definitely be perfect when paired with a small print ;)
