As I promised you, I am back today to talk to you about the new fabrics that we are presenting and which complete the universe of the Empire State Of Fauve collection .

Creatinga complete range of fabrics and haberdashery with Maison Fauve is one of the most ambitious projects we have ever accomplished and it is a great joy for us to offer you not only a complete wardrobe in the collection of sewing patterns but also the fabrics that will accompany your sewing.

The return of our Made in France weaves and a new timeless piece

You loved it last winter, our Scott cotton tweed is back this season in a new color, a play of ecru/black checks and highlighted with a discreet silver border. In these colors, your future coat will be a real timeless piece to love for a long time. The Empire State Of Fauve collection does not include a coat, because I think that our beautiful Pam is just perfect to join the clothes in the collection. The concern to maintain consistency between our collections is important to me because sewing offers for me the luxury of "long time", clothes that will follow us without losing their appeal after we have spent time thinking about them, creating them.

For this collection, we also offer you a nice light denim fabric, Macadam denim . Perfect for shirts, blouses, dresses, and soft pants like Brooklyn or Belem , it will give a very wild wild west look to your Skyline shirt .

The Maison Fauve wardrobe includes a blazer and pants set that deserved to have a dedicated fabric. So we called on our Lyon weaver to offer a pretty houndstooth cotton jacquard, the Jazz fabric . Very elegant and easy to sew and wear, the material is perfect for our patterns. And if the manufacturer is not able to reproduce the blue/black color presented at the launch and which was a huge success (thank you thank you!!!), we were able to have our pretty Jazz fabric woven in cappuccino . The tobacco tones of the fabric blend wonderfully with our other fabrics, whether it is the Scott tweed and its ecru/black/silver colors, our Macadam denim or our Very green viscose twill .

The colors of the season

The choice of our 3 exclusive colors, Very green , Ultra violet and Midnight blue is very thoughtful, I explain to you in the video the story of these 3 colors offered in plain on our beautiful viscose twill as well as on our prints. And who says Skyline shirt or Chelsea blouse with a clever pleat called refined fabric to magnify them: a beautiful white tencel joins the party to highlight as it should the work of cutting the models.

Signature prints

Working on patterns is an essential step, which definitively signs the identity of a brand. When you come across a garment in a window, it is often its print that will catch your eye (at least that's the case for me). I'm going to tell you about our exclusive Lemon and Twist prints, which continue to tell the story of our Empire State Of Fauve. The pretty Leo has also joined the ranks of this collection, he's back this season after having already made an appearance in the couture box that we offered you last winter.

Custom-made haberdashery items

Buttons are the signature of the outfit and it is with as much pleasure as a child at the confectioner's that we choose our future precious ones. It is a joy to have been able to have our 3 new button references made in France in our exclusive colors: our pretty glittery buttons , our Wink boot buttons and our pretty natural mother-of-pearl buttons . Buttons specially sourced, always from the same manufacturer, for the Manhattan jacket are also available in a color that matches perfectly with the Jazz cappuccino fabric. I present them to you in detail in the podcast episode.

But that's not all, at Maison Fauve we also offer you sleeve head cigarettes , very high quality shoulder pads , thread and zips matching our fabrics , different iron-on adhesives adapted to our fabrics , needles , pins ... In short, everything you need to sew beautiful clothes!
