DIY: Recycle your scraps, sew a Nomad belt!

Every issue of L'Œil Fauve magazine contains its surprises! Last year, we gave you the beautiful Nomade belt as a gift , which was the continuation of the "Carnet de Voyage" collection .

This free pattern is now available for quick download in the Maison Fauve Free Patterns selection.

The Nomade belt pattern was born from the desire to reuse scraps of precious fabrics, in particular the beautiful jacquards and sequined fabrics used in the making of the Ispahan jacket and the Palma top . This perfect reversible accessory will allow you too to recycle pretty fabrics because I imagine that you have kept scraps of favorite fabrics waiting for a second life.

Mix and match! Dare to use colors, patterns, and shimmering fabrics

The "Purple Rain" theme inspired me to create some very mauve outfits, and I loved the Blush camisole , Bélem shorts , and Criollo jacket set , which I still find so fashionable. The colorful nomad belt adds a touch of pep and originality.

The softest outfit combined navy blue Bélem pants with a hack of the black Ludmilla top . I also contrasted it with a belt made of the fabric I love with peacock feathers.

For the in-between, I mixed the Bélem tie-dye pants and the matching shiny belt for contrast.
