Fall Couture Capsule: New Maison Fauve Fabrics

Your favorite fabrics revisited in the colors of the Empire State Of Fauve collection for your fall sewing projects

Empire State Of Fauve is not only our new collection, but its universe will continue all season long. And autumn in Manhattan promises to be mild, with the return of two iconic fabrics from last winter's Maison Fauve collection: Léo viscose and Scott tweed . And a new fabric joins this capsule collection for a look that smells of the great West: Macadam lightweight denim, as beautiful in a shirt as in palazzo pants like Brooklyn .

Leo goes wild in colorama

Our soft leopard-print viscose fabric returns in the color trio of our new collection. In two colors on a white background, the shades of Very Green , Ultra Violet and Midnight Blue are fresh and striking. With its irregular patterns and its perfectly measured volume: Leo is the new polka dot!

Midnight Blue Leo Fabric

I chose the Lauren blouse to sew this beautiful Leo. The softness of the viscose twill is perfect for Lauren's shoulder pleat detail and easy-to-create square neckline.

The Léo Ultra Violet fabric

Sewn into the skirt of our Pénélope wrap dress pattern, Léo also looks great worn as a pair! Its intense purple and white background are the pivotal colors of the collection, and the combinations with blue or green are magnificent. But you can perfectly tone things down with denim or white.

The Léo Very green fabric

The Chelsea blouse is a lovely project for this viscose and its Central Park grass green color predominates here over the white and pairs perfectly with our Macadam denim and brown and gray tones.

When Scott tweed is sewn with silver thread

Scott is a cotton tweed and after the blue and beige versions of last winter, our winter coat fabric is back in an ecru and black duo. Its check pattern, which plays on the dimensions of the houndstooth, is delicately highlighted with a delicate and sooooo precious silver line ;)

Macadam story, denim has never been so chic

Our Macadam denim fabric will be perfect for your Maison Fauve fall sewing projects: the Skyline shirt will have a completely different look with its pleats stitched in our new contrasting caramel sewing thread . A slightly strong denim blue color and a material that will patina over time, it will follow you for a long time. But Brooklyn pants , a Mia blouse or a Kika dress/playsuit will also be perfect revisited for a "Denim Love Story".
