100% Wool Tailor's Wool Fabric, Anthracite
This medium-weight wool fabric is perfect for sewing the Brooklyn , Reef , and Belem trousers, the Manhattan , Mimosa , and Metropolis jackets, or other trouser projects, blazers, tailored jackets, and skirts . The fabric drapes beautifully and is not itchy.
For sewing, we recommend our universal sewing machine needles , our sewing threads , and if you need to interface the fabric: Vlieseline G700 . For sewing jackets, we recommend interfacing the front bodice with a fusible interfacing such as Vlieseline G785, in addition to the usual interfacing recommendations in your sewing patterns.

Which side should you sew? Observe and feel your fabric piece. The choice of the right and wrong sides of the fabric is up to you; one side is often a little more "fluffy" and the other more "lustrous." I tend to prefer the lustrous side on the right side of the garment.
Washing
You should not pre-shrink your fabric in the washing machine before washing (you can iron it by placing a damp cloth between you before sewing).
👉 We always recommend carrying out a preliminary test on the fabric.
