Maison Fauve's denim fabric is a high-quality, 100% cotton textile, ideal for making the Silvana skirt , the Récif trousers , the Hussard trousers , the Pilar jacket , the Dandelion bomber jacket , the Métropolis jacket , and the Vipère jumpsuit . Available in four classic shades: washed blue, dark blue, medium blue , and light blue , this medium-weight denim fabric is perfect for robust and elegant creations such as jeans, jackets, blazers, or accessories.
Sold by the meter, it comes with dark blue , medium blue, and light blue fly fronts, and 6.0/100 double needles . Jeans needles , Cumin thread for perfect topstitching, and silver jeans buttons . If you need to fuse the fabric:Vlieseline G700 . For cutting, we recommend MF tailor's scissors.
The 100% cotton denim is hand-washed in Korea. Each roll is unique, and we cannot guarantee a consistent wash effect across all cut pieces. The "washed effect" and light blue colors show varying degrees of fading; these are not color defects but rather a result of the fabric processing.

Washing
Jeans need to be pre-washed, hung up, and air-dried flat. The fabric will soften as washing removes the finish. The shade of blue will change with each wash due to the material (100% cotton denim).
Machine wash at 30 degrees. Do not tumble dry. Iron at a moderate temperature (150 degrees).
The fabric is dyed with indigo, which results in some color bleeding, a perfectly normal occurrence, especially with the dark blue (the most natural) shade . We advise you to wash and store your fabric with similar colors, and to avoid wearing your dark blue garment with other light-colored clothing or accessories (white t-shirt or shirt, light leather handbag, light-colored canvas, suede, or leather shoes) to prevent color transfer. This phenomenon will diminish as your jeans develop a patina. If you wish to avoid these issues, inherent to the nature of raw denim, we recommend choosing medium or light blue.
