A pair of jeans was needed in the Maison Fauve wardrobe. Its high-waisted cut hugs the hips well, leaves the thigh comfortable and tightens at the ankle so as not to compress but on the contrary to lengthen while maintaining comfort. And as usual, the Maison Fauve touch: the very pretty pleats that adorn the pockets.

Sewing level : advanced . The technical points are the fly and the belt.

Supplies

For a width of 140 fabric:
- 34-40 you need 150 cm
- 42-46 you need 180 cm
- 48-52 you need 210 cm
- The pocket bags are cut from a 30x70 cm lining fabric
- Heat-adhesive
- A 18 cm non-separable zip
- A button of 15 to 20 mm
- A bias tape, the quantity of which will be chosen according to the waist size

There are many stitched areas on your pants, for a "jeans" style don't hesitate to use a contrasting thread.

Fabric

The pattern is made for a fabric without elastane such as denim, a tailor-made wool suitable for sewing pants, a cotton twill, a jacquard. If you want to sew the garment in a fabric that contains a little elastane, do not exceed 2% of elastic fiber in the composition and sew the size below.
