FAQ sewing patterns and fabrics "Le Rivage"
Despite the sea spray and strong wind, the CLIFF coat will keep you nice and warm. Designed as a revisited pea coat, it has a shawl collar and double buttoning, a large front flap reminiscent of pea jackets, piped pockets, button tabs at the bottom of the sleeves and its cut is enveloping, worked with pleats and a wide belt at the bottom.
Elegant and comfortable, fully lined, you can choose whether or not to put the flaps, and tighten the bottom of the sleeve more or less.
Sewing level : intermediate , technical points are the piped pocket, the lining/coat assembly, the shawl collar and the belt.
SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED (1 CM).

Fabric
Only warp and weft fabrics, coat-type wool, jacquard with hold, tweed, heavy denim, gabardine, weighing 250 to 700g/m2 depending on the desired rendering. For the lining I recommend that you choose a specific fabric for linings, such as our 100% cupro lining, which is slippery and more breathable than polyester.
