MISS IVY , or the dream summer skirt for little (and big) girls, an elasticated waistband for comfort and its play of ruffles which offers a light, dancing look.

Sewing level : intermediate . The technical points are the creation of gathers, the assembly of the belt and the elastic.

SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED (1 CM).

Size

The pattern is sized from 4 to 14 years old (measurement chart on the pattern pdf and brochure). Before you start, take the elastic template and test your child's waist size, you can then cut your Miss Ivy accordingly.

Supplies

- 2m50 of fabric for sizes 4-6 years
- 2m75 of fabric for sizes 8-10 years
- 3m10 of fabric for sizes 12-14 years
- An elastic for the waist: to put in the fabric belt take an elastic 1.5 cm wide (length according to the size template on the board) and if you want a nice decorative elastic that is visible choose an elastic 35 mm wide
- A safety pin to tuck your elastic into the waistband

Choice of fabric: A very pretty crepe, a beautiful cotton, a viscose, English embroidery that is not too openwork or even silk for the more daring… Let your inspiration speak!
