To celebrate summer 2024 with us, we are delighted to offer you, in issue 9 – Summer 2024 of L'Œil Fauve magazine , the PDF pattern for the GRENADINE skirt .

Slightly trapezoidal and impeccably finished, Grenadine captivates with its decidedly "couture" look. Its front seam , which can be highlighted with piping or left plain, gives it its unique character. The pattern was specially designed for sewing our beautiful jacquard fabrics , but it also adapts perfectly to gabardine , denim, or tweed for a more structured version.

The GRENADINE pattern is available in sizes from 34 to 52.

Sewing level : Beginner : unlined skirt version / Advanced : lined skirt version. Technical points covered : Sewing inset curves, sewing darts, attaching piping, inserting a standard zipper, attaching a full lining.

Seam allowances included (1 cm)

The Grenadine pattern is available in sizes from 34 to 52.

Supplies

Fabric with a width of 140 cm:

• 34 - 44: 70 cm,

• 46-52: 100 cm

Lining :

• 34-48: 50 cm,

• 50-52: 80 cm

- 30 cm of G700 fusible interfacing

- 1m of piping (gold or silver)

- A non-separating zip for an 18 cm skirt

Fabric selection : only woven fabrics, jacquard, tweed, denim, gabardine, or cotton sateen, weighing 200 to 550 g/m² depending on the desired finish. For the lining, we recommend lightweight and breathable fabrics such as cotton voile.
