The SEW-ON FLOWER is a small sewing project with a "wow" effect! Inspired by the Maison Fauve universe, this oversized textile flower instantly adds a touch of poetry and fashion to your creations. Sew it directly onto a garment, clip it on, or turn it into a brooch – it personalizes an outfit in just a few minutes and becomes a true textile jewel.
Easy and quick to make, this pretty sewing project is perfect for using up your fabric scraps while creating a refined and customizable accessory. ✨ Make several and layer them for a strong silhouette!
Sewing level: Beginner. Technical points: right sides together sewing, gathering stitch, petal creation, assembly on a circular base, hand finishing (optional brooch pin or snap fastener application).

A piece of fabric measuring 60 x 7 cm (lightweight fabrics) or 60 x 4 cm (medium-weight fabrics), + 2 circles of 5 cm diameter

A circle of interfacing type Vlieseline G710, 5 cm in diameter

Optional: a brooch pin (removable accessory) or snap fasteners (trompe-l'œil button effect)
Fabric
Soft and lightweight fabrics are recommended for a beautiful drape and well-defined petals: viscose poplin, Lucente jacquard, Tencel satin, lace. For a structured effect with medium-weight fabrics (reversible jacquards in particular), use a narrower strip (60 x 4 cm) with a rolled hem finish.

For PDFs, some of the older ones stop at 46, and others go up to 56. Please remember to check the size range indicated on each pattern before purchasing.
