Description
Pattern
The SPRITZ tank top duo will be the versatile asset in your wardrobe. The pattern includes 2 pieces:
- A first tank top embellished with a Tunisian collar (which is optional), very low-cut at the neckline and armholes, for a flexible and relaxed look
- A second tank top with a classic, straight cut, and armhole and neckline openings adapted for wearing a bra
Each top features perfect finishes thanks to the application of bias binding at the armhole and neckline, and assembly with French seams.
You can combine them by layering the second under the first, or wear them separately. The lower-cut tank top will look stunning over a swimsuit, a bralette, pretty lingerie you want to show off, or directly on the skin for the bolder ones, while the second will be the perfect everyday basic.
The zebra print version worn by Emilie in the product photos is a dress variation made from the Spritz pattern. To replicate it, you simply need to lengthen each front and back piece by 50 cm. Plan for 1m of fabric in addition to the pattern’s fabric requirement (the quantity will depend on your grading size). This hack combines the basic pattern of the bottom tank top (the less revealing one) with the polo placket of the top tank top.
Crochet knit: Winter trend inspired by the marine world
Sewing level : BEGINNER for the under-tank top, INTERMEDIATE for the over-tank top if you sew the button placket. Technical points include sewing darts, attaching bias binding, and creating a polo-style button placket.
