The RAFALE windbreaker combines the classic, timeless lines of an outerwear garment with Maison Fauve's signature attention to detail. The face will be well protected by a lined hood, enhanced with a small visor, and tightened with a drawstring.

The cut is structured by elaborate cut-outs and yokes, an impeccably cut sleeve highlighted with small darts, a large kangaroo pocket with a trompe l'oeil flap (you can slip your hands in but not open the pocket from the top), and a comfortable length. Practical and stylish, it will be reinvented according to your choice of fabrics and outfits.

Description

Sewing level: ADVANCED. The technical points of the pattern are: creating French seams and flat-felled seams, installing an invisible zipper, attaching elastic, and sewing curved areas and darts. The pattern does not present significant technical difficulties, but it does have many pieces.

Emilie wears Rafale in size 36 and Julie in size 40.

Fabric for crinkled waterproof canvas fabric with a width of 120 cm:

Solid: 34-40: 320 cm, 42-48: 370 cm, 50-52: 400 cm

Fabric for a width of 140 cm:

Solid: 34-40: 240 cm, 42-48: 270 cm, 50-52: 290 cm

Tricolor (in our narrow waterproof fabric): 34-40: 160 cm (bottom) + 85 cm (hood) + 110 cm (top and sleeves), 42-48: 180 cm + 90 cm + 150 cm, 50-52: 190 cm + 95 cm + 150 cm

1 invisible zipper, 40 cm

Fabric choice

Lightweight, flexible fabrics between 70 and 200g/m2, such as thin denim, coated or water-repellent fabrics, as well as fine gabardine, medium-weight twill, or cotton sateen. For the hood lining, cotton voile will be the most comfortable.

The pattern does not include a lining; the interior finishes are impeccable thanks to French and flat-felled seams.
