This lovely lamé lyocell twill fabric is pleasant to sew and wear. It has a slightly crinkled linen look and a beautiful drape . It will be perfect for sewing a soft and lightweight version of the Dandelion jacket , Grand Bain shorts , and creating tops, shirts, blouses , and dresses . With its medium opacity, you can easily wear it with lingerie that won't create a contrast, or opt for a cupro or cotton voile lining.

Its twill weave gives it a beautiful drape. Lyocell has a look quite similar to linen: the surface texture is a slightly crinkled effect, not completely smooth. The blended fibers provide a shimmering, tone-on-tone finish.

The reverse side of the fabric is soft, but the cutting and assembly areas highlight the cut threads that make lamé unique: we recommend English seam finishes or bias binding if you are sewing a garment without lining and are sensitive to the surface condition of fabrics, especially for a blouse or top.

Washing

Before sewing your fabric, you can steam iron it on the reverse side to set the fibers.

- Overlock the edges of your fabric before putting it in the washing machine

- Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, preferably in a laundry bag

- Gentle spin cycle, maximum 400 rpm

- No tumble dryer

- Iron at low temperature
