This lovely lamé lyocell twill fabric is pleasant to sew and wear. It has a slightly crinkled linen look and a lovely hold , It will be perfect for sewing a soft and lightweight version of the Dandelion jacket , Grand Bain shorts and creating tops, shirts, blouses and dresses . Of medium opacity, you can however wear it without worry with lingerie that will not contrast, or prefer the use of a cupro lining or in a cotton veil.

Its twill weave gives it a beautiful drape. Lyocell has a finish quite similar to linen: the surface texture is a material effect that is not completely smooth, but with a falsely wrinkled appearance. The blended fibers provide a shiny, tone-on-tone laminated finish.

The reverse side of the fabric is soft but the cutting and assembly areas highlight the cut threads that make lamé special: we recommend finishing with English seams or with bias binding if you are sewing an unlined garment and you are sensitive to the surface condition of the fabrics, particularly for a blouse or a top.

Universal needles in gauge 70 or 80

- Before sewing your fabric, you can iron it on the reverse side with steam to fix the fibers

- Overlock the edges of your coupon before putting it in the machine

- Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, preferably in a laundry net

- Gentle spin, 400 rpm maximum

- No tumble dryer

- Iron at low temperature
