At Maison Fauve, we believe that each of our patterns is made to be loved and sewn for years to come. Reinterpreted with each season and with new fabrics, your favorite designs are reinvented. With this hack, Rosalie is now available in an elegant long-sleeved version , designed to be worn in any season, while retaining the feminine look and details that make the original pattern so charming. This hack is available in the Winter 2025 issue of L'Œil Fauve magazine .

The long-sleeve pattern pieces are provided in PDF format , in addition to the original Rosalie dress pattern. Having the original Rosalie dress pattern is essential to sew your dress. See the Rosalie dress pattern here.

The Rosalie pattern is available in sizes from 34 to 52.

Sewing level : Advanced . Technical points: bust pleats, precision of the point under the neckline, insertion of an invisible side zip and creation of a slit.

Seam allowances included (1 cm)

Supplies

T fabric for a width of 140cm:

For the dress:

• 34-40: 230 cm

• 42-44: 260cm

• 46-52: 295 cm

For the blouse:

• 34-44: 140 cm

• 46-52: 175 cm

- 30 cm of fusible interfacing and 4 strips of fusible interfacing, 30 cm long

- 2 buttons of 10-12mm for the buttoned cuff

- An invisible 40cm zip (for both blouse and dress versions)

Fabric choice : A light and supple fabric, such as viscose, cotton, linen or silk, poplin, crepe, satin, fabrics between 100 and 200 g/m². The pattern does not include a lining; if you sew Rosalie in a lace fabric, I recommend wearing a camisole/slip underneath, like our Blush pattern.
