TIGRIS is the must-have coat from the Fauvae Botanica Fall Winter 2023/2024 collection .
For spring, revisit our beautiful Tigris coat pattern into an iconic trench coat with our free PDF add-on. You can easily hack your sewing pattern by changing the shape of the collar and adding a back flap and a belt with belt loops.
The PDF extension contains only the back flap, collar and waistband pattern pieces as well as the sewing instructions that complement the Tigris brochure. You must have the Tigris envelope pattern to be able to make the adaptation.
The steps for sewing the pieces of the trench version are detailed in this video tutorial .
Size : the parts grade from 34 to 52
Sewing level : intermediate for the short version without piped pocket, advance for the long version with center back slit and assembly of the piped pockets. The technical points are the piped pocket, the back slit, the collar.
SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED (1 CM).

- 130 cm of iron-on adhesive for the collar, the facing, the entrance of the piped pockets and the bottom of the bust and sleeve pieces. We useVlieseline G700 in our video.
Iron-on the bottom of your bust and sleeve pieces with 3 cm high strips for a well-defined bottom of the coat and bottom of the sleeves.
Fabric
Medium weight and soft wools like our 100% wool tartan wool. A wool with hold, tweed, gabardine, weighing around 300 to 650g/m2 to highlight the straight cut and the line of the collar, shoulders and bib.

All our paper patterns are graded from 34 to 52.
For PDFs, some of the older ones stop at 46, and others go up to 56. Please remember to check the size range indicated on each pattern before purchasing.
