Flower bouquet for spring Dahlia...and its video tutorial!
Hello!!!
You always return to your first loves, and I am no exception...not a year goes by without me sewing a new Dahlia! In viscose, in embroidered anglaise, plain, leopard print, sleeveless...I already have a beautiful collection. And the implementation of the video tutorials was an opportunity to sew my beautiful pattern again. The particularities of the model are that it looks like a blouse, but with the codes of a shirt (length to tuck into trousers, flat pleat in the back, slightly fitted drape)...and its famous collar ;)

Spring Blouse
And I wanted to sew myself a very spring-like Dahlia blouse (well, I don't have any like this). I chose this magnificent cotton sateen from "Sous le figuier", a fabric house that offers delightful and delicate floral prints. This cluster of small blue flowers mixed with fine stripes goes well with the pattern, and perfectly highlights its construction details: the collar and the pleat are really emphasized. I'm providing the link to the fabric HERE, but you'll see they are all so beautiful you won't know which to choose (and I didn't choose...I bought 3 pieces hihihi so you'll see these pretty prints again here). With jeans, a beautiful belt (my Sezane crush from a few months ago that I never take off...YEEHAW Calamity Jane, get out of this body), Dahlia is the right classic-chic-but-not-boring touch to my outfit.
