All your feedback about the video tutorials makes me so happy! Indeed, this format requires a lot of work, but it's true that it's really the clearest and most didactic way to guide you through sewing the patterns. Many of you are self-taught, and during the shows, which are the only time I can meet you "in real life," I've realized that some sewers have apprehensions (setting sleeves, sewing a collar, an invisible zipper, etc.). I want the video to help you overcome these small hurdles, and for sewers who hesitate to start a pattern, the video highlights the assembly steps well, to better understand the technical level but also the feasibility of the model (because we sometimes tend to overestimate the difficulty ;)).

5 models are already available in video format:

the Sunset jacket, the Eclipse romper, the Sirocco top, the Derek scrub cap, the Zénith blouse. This new tutorial presents the Zénith dress version: making pretty darts, assembling gathered long sleeves, sewing an invisible zipper, and an alternative method for attaching bias binding to the neckline...beyond the presentation of the model, these techniques will serve you no matter the pattern, allowing you to progress and sew more elaborate garments. My beautiful Zénith takes on more muted, less vibrant tones here than the previous gold and blue versions. I chose this Mind the Maker fabric for the combination of navy blue/brown-burgundy colors and the maxi leopard print; I find it audaciously understated :)   I bought the fabric coupon at Cousette's booth this winter at CSF; it was love at first sight for this very soft viscose twill. The drape is truly ideal for Zénith, which is truly enhanced as a dress version with a flexible fabric. The ideal pattern-fabric combo to expand my lovely collection! The work on the paneled skirt takes on its full meaning; its cuts are flattering because they don't add volume but go beyond the fitted skirt.

Get ready for the Zénith dress assembly video; all you have to do is find the fabric of your dreams (be careful, between the blouse version, the dress version, and the 3 sleeve finishes, the pattern quickly becomes addictive ;) )!
