All your feedback about the video tutorials makes me so happy! Indeed this format requires a lot of work but it is true that it is really the clearest and most didactic way to support you in sewing patterns. Many of you are self-taught, and during the trade shows which are the only time when I can meet you "in real life" I understood that some seamstresses have apprehensions (assembling sleeves, sewing a collar, an invisible zip etc...). I hope that the video will help you to overcome these small obstacles, and for seamstresses who hesitate to start on a pattern, the video clearly highlights the assembly steps, to better consider the technical level but also the feasibility of the model (because we sometimes tend to overestimate the difficulty ;) ).

This new tutorial presents thedress version of Zenith : making the pretty darts, assembling the long gathered sleeves, sewing the invisible zip, and an alternative method for placing the bias on the neckline... beyond the presentation of the model, these techniques will be useful to you whatever the pattern, enough to progress and sew more elaborate clothes. My beautifulZenith takes here more muted tones, less bright than the previous gold and blue versions. I chose this Mind the maker fabric for the combination of navy blue/brown-burgundy colors and the maxi leopard pattern, I find it audaciously sober :) I bought the coupon on the Cousette stand this winter at the CSF, a real love at first sight for this very soft viscose twill. The drape is really ideal forZenith , which is really highlighted in the dress version with a soft fabric. The ideal pattern-fabric combo to expand my pretty collection! The work of the skirt in panels takes on its full meaning, its cuts flatter because they do not bring volume but go beyond the framework of the skirt close to the body.
