The Le Rivage collection fashion show
Le Rivage Fall-Winter 2024/2025: A Fashion Show of Inspiration and Style
Because nothing beats movement to better discover clothes, I invite you to join us in our stories for a Instagram video parade on the @maisonfauve account . This format allows me to present each new pattern to you, to describe the details and possible variations. You can also take a closer look at the new fabrics: their fall, the drape, the colors.
But for this show, I chose to go beyond a collection review. I paired the new patterns with other Maison Fauve models for looks that project "Le Rivage" into a wardrobe that is as much everyday as for a special occasion. By playing on the palette of fabrics and colors, the combination of clothes between them, and the choice of accessories, I offer you 8 very Fauve looks for the start of the school year on Le Rivage!
The key looks of the fashion show
The show features distinct looks, and each one tells a story and embodies a particular aesthetic. Here are the looks you'll find on the runway:
1. Variation of looks around the Déferlante blouse in white Lily viscose jacquard
Wave in ecru Lily - Cosmopolitan jumpsuit in Fauve Party - Cliff in Grey wool
- I pair my pleated white blouse with the Récif pants in greige gabardine:
I envision my white blouse as a shirt, worn outside the pants or tucked into the Récif pants, with a thin black belt. It's an easy look to wear every day, effortless but elegant due to the choice of fabric of the blouse.
- A retro chic look by combining a timeless little white blouse with the Cosmopolitan playsuit in Fauve Party jacquard and my Cliff coat in gray wool
It's a more mischievous outfit, with black patent leather babies and a coat that plays the role of duffle coats and gives this look an adorable preppy note.
2. The Peninsula Dress: one pattern for 2 colorful versions
Peninsula Dress in Lily Red Passion and Metropolis
- A look to adopt every day, the Peninsula dress in blue Panache print, belted and worn with a Pilar denim jacket and my Cliff coat
A slightly rock daytime look, with big high boots and my denim jacket. A slightly wide belt with a jewel buckle will structure the silhouette.
- A flamboyant and glamorous look with the Péninsule dress in a pussy-bow collar version in Lily viscose jacquard in passionate red and the Métropolis jacket
The style is more feminine and dressed up, and this combination with my short black Metropolis jacket offers a touch of sophistication. It's the perfect outfit for special occasions. A pretty brooch in the shape of a fiery heart (here from the brand Christelle dit Christensen) will be the final touch and a nice reminder of the Lily fabric.
3. A draped collar blouse for day or night
Cumin Lace Storm and Cumin Panache , Tigris Tartan Trench Coat and Brooklyn Trousers
- The Tempête blouse, long sleeve version in Panache cumin print
The Panache viscose poplin gives the collar a very pretty drape, and the pattern of the cumin-colored fabric matching the gabardine of the Récif pants brings coherence to the whole. The perfect outfit to feel elegant every day, while being comfortable in your clothes.
- A hand-sewn lace top, still in cumin tones, paired with Brooklyn palazzo pants will be perfect for a dressy outfit with a Tigris trench coat.
The Botanica cumin lace gives a whole new dimension to the Tempête blouse pattern. I also chose the sleeveless version, for a very refined top. I wear it with my Brooklyn pants in black wool, so chic, again a belt and very couture heels. As for the choice of the Tigris trench coat that I will wear with this outfit: navy with black checks or gabardine, I admit my heart is torn!
In navy and black checked wool, this look combines classicism and audacity. In trench gabardine, the codes of the trench coat are respected and the outfit will be very elegant. In addition, the khaki lining which tends towards olive green responds nicely to the cumin color of the lace.
4. The Cumin Reef Marine Pants will be suitable for all occasions
- Associated with the Déferlante dung in lace Coquillage Red passion
The Déferlante blouse sewn in bright red lace is a little gem. It can be worn during the day with the Récif pants. I love this lace so much, day or night, I don't hold back from wearing it. And the Récif sailor pants will play down the baroque look of my blouse.
- Paired with the Atlas blouse in white tencel and the Cliff coat
I conclude this review of Le Rivage looks with an outfit that is ideal for fall: a vaporous white Atlas blouse in tencel, Récif pants and a Cliff coat in charcoal gray wool. Paired with a pretty pair of leather loafers, the look seems classic and yet it is anything but formal: the shoe is two-tone, the pants in warm tones, the blouse embellished with pleats can be worn more or less buttoned, and the Cliff coat shakes it all up with its flaps and its very unique line.
