Each new collection is a kind of journey, a great adventure in which I invite you to follow me to explore together a new universe, and a new wardrobe. This season, I wanted to breathe a slightly mystical elegance into my creations, whether through the work of the cut but also in the choice of materials or patterns. I wanted to offer seamstresses a wardrobe that celebrates femininity, pieces that have character but that they can easily make their own.

Each new pattern will join the pieces from previous collections, for a coherent Maison Fauve wardrobe to love for a long time. To celebrate the launch of the collection, as at the start of each season, for 3 patterns purchased in pocket format, we offer you 1 PDF pattern of your choice. Let me introduce you to Fauvae Botanica in more detail.

For this winter, I want to push open the doors to a secret garden, a timeless and mysterious place, infused with inspirations that are dear to me. I love Victorian novels, Gothic mansions, ghost stories, and cabinets of curiosities. Things that navigate the line between the strange and the beautiful. However, the clothes of my heroine of the season do not veer into anachronism. I enjoyed imagining what Jane Eyre's outfits would be like to roam the English countryside in 2023. A comfortable and elegant wardrobe, for which the choice of materials and colors draws on the palette and inspirations of this collection.

This winter, the Fauve woman will have her hair blowing in the wind and a determined look. The cut of the clothes encourages you to raise your head and feel beautiful and proud. And the work on the details and finishes of the models are all small, discreet but very present reminders of the high standards and attention to detail of beautiful things.

The new patterns in the collection

Each model will be distinguished by signature elements of the Maison Fauve wardrobe: a beautiful collar, pleat work, darts, pocket finishes or even a delicately designed neckline.

The Tigris coat

I wanted to offer a beautiful coat model again, a timeless piece that wouldn't be redundant among our existing offerings. A beautiful coat is a garment to be loved for years, so it must survive the seasons without aging.

The Tigris coat plays with the codes of the officer's coat (shoulder tabs, high collar) to better divert them: the collar rises a little higher, it has a precisely placed shoulder clip, the buttoning is slightly offset on the first button, the build is in place without excessively marking the shoulder (and does not require epaulettes) and the cut is straight, neither too close to the body nor too wide. We offer it to you sewn in a magnificent Italian wool cloth , in a soft and timeless tone, a perfect Storm Grey. We have also selected for you brand new wooden and metal buttons , real jewels.

Tigris has several options: with or without welt pockets, mid-thigh or mid-calf length, and the long version will allow you to try a new sewing technique: the lined center-back slit. Don't panic, our video tutorial will guide you every step of the way!

The Cicadella blouse

A pretty, perfectly cut blouse with a delicate yet unadorned line is a wardrobe essential. Its neckline cuts out at the nape of the neck (such a feminine detail!) and its secret lies in its intricately designed cuff.

The Cicadella blouse is the touch of softness that will allow you to play with your fabrics for a constantly renewed garment.

Sewing a lace blouse is always a source of pride, the beauty of the fabric adds to the beauty of the cut of the garment. We will guide you every step of the way to sew, if you wish, your first lined garment with absolutely perfect finishes (and without an overlocker) because it is assembled using a French seam and the neckline and armhole finishes are made with bias binding. All the pieces are included in the pattern, so all you have to do is follow the instructions. And this season, we are offering beautiful lace and matching cotton voiles .

The Cicadella blouse is suitable for sewers of all skill levels thanks to its various sleeve options, ranging from technical to technical. A comprehensive step-by-step video details each step of the assembly process.

The Dandelion Jacket

I really wanted a bomber jacket, and until now it was missing from the Maison Fauve wardrobe. However, I wanted this pretty jacket to be neither too sporty nor too casual, a piece that resembles us and whose details would at first glance recall the Maison Fauve style. Here is Dandelion , which is full of pretty elegant touches: the cut of its belt raised in the back, the choice of a buttoned rather than a zipped closure, a nice volume rounded off by pleats in the lower back, the right length under the small hips for comfort.

To be able to play with your sewing pattern and vary it as desired, I offer you 3 pocket finishes:

• A piped pocket

• A kangaroo pocket

• A flap pocket, but which plays on trompe l'oeil because the opening of the pocket is on the side and not under the flap

All these variations, and the possibility of sewing your Dandelion in many fabrics will allow you to renew the pleasure of sewing and wearing this pretty jacket. Soft and warm in our wool cloth, or more sophisticated and very couture in our Botanica jacquard which comes in luminous ecru or deep Ink blue .

The Viper jumpsuit and dress

Treating yourself to a new sewing pattern is always a pleasure, and when this pattern allows you to sew two different garments, it's twice as happy, right? The Vipère jumpsuit and dress duo is a very beautiful model, and one that renews the legendary jumpsuit in a more streamlined approach.

This sewing pattern is full of pretty details: the neckline dart, the Italian pocket with the signature cut, the shoulder tabs, the beautiful lowered belt, less classic than the belting at the hollow of the waist, and the pretty pleats of the back. And it doesn't stop there: sheath stitching of the back yoke, pretty interior finishes, technical button placket but also very important for the look of the garment, whether as a dress or a jumpsuit, the beautiful Viper has a crazy look! And for comfort when worn, we offer you our very beautiful cotton satin which contains a hint of elastane, and which is renewed in the colors of the season: a luminous mahogany and a deep ink blue are added to the khaki and sand colors.

The Soliflore dress and blouse

I really wanted a dress with a very large collar, a slightly dramatic piece, very chic, but one that could be played with.

The beautiful Soliflore will surprise you with its very high collar. Its asymmetrical buttoning is just perfect, because it allows you to wear the collar straightened or folded down, 2 very different ways of wearing it (because nothing is more pleasant than playing with your clothes). And to vary the pleasures even more, Soliflore can even be sewn without a collar, the neckline is open and the buttoning remains present to dress the bust. The back also hides a surprise, a set of darts that dresses the neckline.

In its dress version, the line is straight and flexible, it is supported by a belt, and the leg is exposed by a beautiful asymmetrical slit at the bottom of the garment.

This sewing pattern will be enhanced by soft fabrics, and the purity of its line will be highlighted as much by a plain fabric with an intense color like our beautiful viscose twills, as by a characterful print like our new Jardin Fauve pattern or the Léo pattern which takes on autumnal tones. New fabrics and haberdashery

Fauvae Botanica is a color palette enriched with new shades: an intense red, a chocolate brown, a luminous cinnamon orange, a deep mahogany, a revisited beetle green. These colors are available on our soft viscose twills, our beautiful laces, our cotton voiles, and our prints. They can also be found on our new, very elegant matte Wink shank buttons.

The beauty of lace

We are delighted to be able to present you with this collection of laces with sought-after patterns and colors from Maison Fauve . The embroidery work is splendid, and they are delicately openworked. To be able to line them without a false note, also discover our selection of matching cotton voiles .

A new jacquard

You know my passion for jacquard, so I did it again this season with a brand new fabric with a pattern  Delicate floral accented with lurex threads. Our Botanica jacquard, woven in Lyon, is a marvel that will be available in ecru and ink blue . We have planned to accompany it with new Poppy buttons in silver metal .

An exclusive print

I am very happy to present this new print, which I took great pleasure in designing and transcribing into a textile pattern: the Jardin Fauve print . Mixing floral designs inspired by old engravings and a snake motif that adds a touch of fun to the whole, it is available in the range of colors of the new collection.

Our handsome Leo is back

The pretty eyespots of the Leo are back this season, available in Scarab Green on a sand background , and in a delicious chocolate tone . It will be perfect for sewing blouses, shirts and dresses .

The softness of wool

We are delighted to offer you again a sublime fabric from the dormant stock of a fashion house of the LVMH group, a magnificent wool cloth woven in Italy Storm Gray , which will be as beautiful sewn for a coat as for a jacket . Our new gold-circled wooden buttons give it a precious note while in duo with our new Solaris buttons, it is a combination full of softness.
