Nomad Fashion Show: 4 easy-to-adopt everyday look ideas

Discover the fashion show inspired by the Nomade capsule on YouTube

NOMADE is a line of patterns and fabrics inspired by the world of sportswear.

From sweatshirts with original construction to hoodies with intricate details, well-cut jogging pants and windbreakers with perfect finishes, the cuts and materials are comfortable and easy to wear. But the NOMADE wardrobe also has that extra touch of style that allows you to integrate your hand-sewn creations into a more everyday wardrobe. No need to be a regular at the gym or a trekking enthusiast to adopt these pretty clothes.

The Rafale windbreaker in dupion is perfect worn with bright white Andréa jeans. The flamboyant red Ressac sweatshirt plays down the Tremplin cargo pants in champagne-colored Reflet satin. Patterns are reinvented with the fabrics, and pieces mix and match with ease.

I wanted to take the style proposition further and create silhouettes that incorporate the capsule's new items in a new video of hand-sewn outfits. Discover in this new episode the YouTube video of 4 look ideas that mix Nomade patterns with everyday clothes. I show you each piece in detail (and in motion) and I also give you accessory ideas to create your own outfits.

The key looks from the fashion show

Each model expresses itself fully in movement. In the video of the fashion show, you will discover the new pieces of the capsule:

  • The Adèle hoodie , casual and feminine, with its wrap-around hood, thumbhole cuffs and signature back cutout.

  • The Sasha jogging pants , very easy to sew and comfortable to wear, whose assertive sportswear look does not compromise on the cut.

  • Fleece or French Terry outfits , in a range of timeless colors (Tango red, light gray, black, beetle green or Ink blue).

  • Varsity viscose jacquard shirts and polo shirts , with refined lurex stripes inspired by student clothing.

Look 1: Ballet Core

The balletcore look is an aesthetic inspired by the world of classical dance, but repurposed for everyday wear. It's a trend that plays on volume, soft materials, and details borrowed from ballet attire. The color palette also borrows from the aesthetics of the dance world: light gray, white, powder pink. We are in a gray area, between training clothes and street clothes.

For this look, I opted for my "comforter" ensemble: Adèle hoodie and Sacha jogging pants in a light gray heather sweatshirt. I wore them with a black velvet bodysuit and ballet slippers tied with satin ribbons (totally in keeping with the ballet core theme).

For a more everyday look, I suggest an easy alternative: swap the hoodie for the Pilar jacket in white denim. Denim jacket + precious bodysuit + comfortable joggers and ballet flats, enough to trot lightly throughout the day

Look 2: Brit' Girl

The Brit Girl look draws on the English heritage of school uniforms and London cool for a silhouette that's bold, offbeat, and ultra-stylish. The look is a touch retro, in the style of the mods of the 60s.

I'm mixing my Cobalt Blue striped Malibu polo shirt with my Tango Red Ressac sweatshirt . To keep up with the season (and protect myself from the first chills), I'm adding my Dandelion tartan jacket (sooo British). The color accent works wonderfully. For a faux-demure young woman look, I'm opting for the Silvana skirt in khaki dupion, elegant and ultra-well-cut. The finishing touch to this look: the cherry red pointed ballet flats and patent leather.

Look 3: Easy Tailoring

This is probably the most daring outfit in this show: pajama bottoms can even be worn during the day, provided you pair them with more "conventional" and structured pieces.

I sewed the Scala shirt and Songe shorts in Varsity viscose jacquard. The stripes highlighted with lurex are incredibly chic, and the suppleness of the fabric softens the harsh cut of the blouse. Over them, I put on my Ressac Vert Scarabée sweatshirt , to play on the shades of green. The bright red socks and distressed leather boat shoes accentuate the outfit's masculine inspiration. The Mimosa blazer in iced brown dupion brings elegance to this look that definitely doesn't take itself too seriously.

Look 4: Hygge Chic

The hygge look is inspired by the Danish art of living. mixes cozy pieces for an elegant nonchalance, focused on comfort and softness.

I pair the Adèle hoodie in Encre French terry and the Sacha joggers in black fleece, 100% Nomade, with the Tigris trench coat in Grège gabardine. As accessories, a camel-colored fluffy knit hat and honey-colored worker boots brighten up the outfit.

The contrast between cozy pieces (sweatshirt, jogging suit, hat) and structured pieces (boots, trench coat) creates a subtle balance between cocooning and urban look. Soft textures, enveloping layers and neutral colors create a look perfect for a stroll through the city under a winter sky.
