Exclusive Contest with the New Free Pompom Vest Pattern!

Sewing and love of clothes are my driving forces for Maison Fauve. I love creating each collection, building my "ideal wardrobe", and then seeing you make the patterns your own, to tell a story through your sewing.

For several years, we have been offering you a rather unusual event: a great sewing challenge based on a pattern that we are offering you , with crazy partners ready to spoil you, and which is the opportunity for a lovely creative burst!

In 2024, I chose a model that will beautifully complete the Maison Fauve wardrobe: a masculine-inspired suit vest , a little marvel that I named Pompon , in reference to the flower that men wear in their buttonhole.

The beautiful POMPON suit vest is a wardrobe essential, and it has been designed to be worn whatever your style and desires: the finishes are perfect thanks to a very cleanly assembled lining, its neckline and armholes allow it to be worn next to the skin or over clothing.

Pompon has been thought out down to the smallest details:

• Piped pockets that embellish the front

• The line is impeccable, the ideal length for a comfortable fit

• The silhouette is supported by darts and a tightening tab in the back without constricting the bust, which makes it look just as good open as closed.

We have also sewn Pompon in our beautiful cotton jacquard Jazz Capuccino , and in our heavy viscose twill Onyx , two fabrics currently available in our SALE section.

The Pompon sewing pattern is available in PDF, in A3, A4, A0 and US letter format , and it includes layers to print only your size. The files to download include these 3 printing options, the assembly plans by format, and a detailed assembly booklet illustrated with diagrams to help you sew Pompon. The pattern is classified as an intermediate sewing level , but don't panic: Pompon has a free video sewing tutorial to guide you step by step.

The idea is to play together, so I've gathered a team of crazy partners to spoil you during our big sewing competition.

The RASCOL haberdashery is a key player in the world of sewing, and it is certainly a place of perdition for all seamstresses, as there are so many references in the catalog of this online haberdashery. RASCOL trusted me when my brand was more "confidential", and it has been a real partner for Maison Fauve for many years. In addition, we are almost neighbors, the RASCOL premises being located in Vic la Gardiole ;)

During the competition, the brand is offering several prizes:

• For the big winner: Necchi Creator C360 sewing machine and a Simplicity bias binding machine

• 4 lots of haberdashery items (scissors, lamp, Japanese ruler, mini steam iron kit, etc.) for 4 winners drawn at random

Pompon Contest Rules

The complete competition rules are provided to you among the Pompon PDF pattern files.

The contest will run on Instagram from 01/15/2023 12:00 PM to 02/15/2024 11:59 PM. The results will be announced on 02/20/2023 at 5:00 PM. It is open to everyone from 16 years old.

To have a valid participation, you must:

• Have downloaded and sewn the free pattern for the POMPON vest by Maison Fauve

• Having posted with your profile in public your sewn garment on Instagram using the #maisonfauve #femmefauve #concourspompon #giletpompon #maisonfauveuk

It is possible to participate several times, provided that you present a different garment each time you participate. You can transform or adapt the pattern to your wishes, this will not affect your participation.

The grand winner will be chosen by Maison Fauve according to the following criteria:

• Quality of the pattern's execution

• Instagram post photo aesthetics

There will be 14 additional winners who will be drawn at random from the comments under the contest announcement post on January 15, 2024.

The endowments are:

For the big winner:

• A lot including a Necchi Creator C360 sewing machine and a Simplicity bias binding machine with a total value of 738.90 euros offered by the haberdashery RASCOL

• A workshop box and a support course by ODORE SCOLA worth 119 euros

• a set of stationery and accessories (weekly planner, tiny house pencil/card holder, pencil, Building of note notepad and Rosebud notepad) by CINQPOINTS worth 45 euros

• A 150 euro voucher at ILABELLA
