Travel Diary, the new collection is online

Ready to follow us through our summer desires? The new Carnet de Voyage collection is online (and we have a surprise for you to celebrate the release)!

A sunny wardrobe, with a slight (slight eh... ;) ) addiction to pleats that continues this season: the pleat that emphasizes the neckline of Byzance, which embellishes and highlights the buttoning and cuffs of Atlas, which brings a beautiful volume and continues without cutting or sewing on the belt loop of the Belem pants/shorts.

I designed the wardrobe for this new collection to be comfortable and easy to wear, but there is no question of neglecting femininity and Fauve details. Femininity is not necessarily defined by a very pronounced line, here it is the flexibility of a slightly loose shirt dress that can or cannot be belted, the sweet nonchalance that we feel under the hot summer sun. It is to casually slip on your top with a low-cut back just deep enough to not be too serious in your high-waisted and marked pants but with a discreetly elasticated back belt. Elegance is also wearing a jeweled jacket over shorts and with a pair of light sandals.

Vanina is wearing the Byzance dress in size 50, made from viscose from Pretty Mercerie.

Emilie wears the Byzance top in size 36, sewn in embroidered cotton from Pretty Mercerie and Bélem shorts version in embroidered cotton from Pretty Mercerie .

Julie wears the Byzance top in size 40 sewn in Eglantine fabric and Zoé with the Bélem shorts sewn in tie and dye cotton from Pretty Mercerie .

Emilie is wearing the Byzance top in 36, sewn in embroidered cotton from Pretty Mercerie and the Bélem pants sewn in 34 in tie and dye cotton from Pretty Mercerie

Vanina is wearing the Byzance top in size 50 in embroidered cotton from Pretty Mercerie and the Bélem shorts in size 48 in tencel from Cousette.

Patricia wears Atlas in 36 in dress version, in a lyocell twill from Mondial Tissus .

Emilie wears Byzance in 36 in viscose from Pretty Mercerie

Patricia is wearing the Ispahan jacket in 38, sewn in a Pretty Mercerie jacquard . She is wearing underneath the Byzance top in 38, made in cupro from Mondial Tissus with the Belem pants in 40 in viscose from Pretty Mercerie .

Let me detail the 4 patterns in the collection:

-the BYZANCE dress/top

This version is sewn in double gauze from Cousette .

Here Byzance is sewn in embroidered cotton from Pretty Mercerie

A double V-neckline, very low-cut in the back (and held by a tie), highlighted with 3 overlapping pleats. Cleanliness is ensured by a facing, and the dress version has a gathered front in addition to the elasticated waist, and pockets taken in the side seam of the skirt.

The tutorial for the pattern in its dress version (which also follows the steps of the top) is online HERE

- the ATLAS shirt dress/blouse

Atlas is sewn in a lyocell twill from Mondial Tissus .

This fabric is a viscose from Cousette

The front is decorated with stitched pleats, and the polo-style button placket takes up the codes of the shirt dress. The neckline is highlighted with bias. And the pattern has 2 lengths (dress and blouse) and 2 sleeve finishes (short, and long with a cuff that is also pleated)

The Atlas tutorial in the long-sleeved blouse version with pleated cuffs is available HERE

- BELEM pants/shorts

The Bélem pants are sewn with tie and dye cotton from Pretty Mercerie

Bélem shorts version in embroidered cotton from Pretty Mercerie .

Italian pockets, a zip fly, fake flap pockets on the buttocks, a wide waistband and a high waist (but an elastic back for comfort). The extra thing about Bélem is its belt loops which are an extension of the piece in front, seamless, and very wide to wear a nice belt.

The pattern includes a line to determine the cutting of the shorts version, and the brochure and the video tutorial available IC I perfectly detail how to make the shorts version with cuffs.

- the ISPAHAN jacket

The Ispahan jackets are sewn in jacquards from Pretty Mercerie

2 versions for 2 difficulty levels:

a more technical and ultra chic version with a wide inlay band and a refined version without the inlay band that follows the neckline. The jacket is constructed with princess seams on the front and back, small patch pockets with the top of the pocket highlighted by a cutout, and it is fully lined for impeccable finishes.

The Isfahan tutorial presented IC I is that of the version with inlay, this video details the steps which will be identical for the version without the strip.

A complete wardrobe, with fashion patterns that are designed to complement each other, and several versions per pattern. The levels of the patterns range from intermediate to advanced, so that you learn new techniques and progress at your own pace, thanks to the step-by-step videos.

The patterns are only available in pocket patterns, decorated according to the theme of the collection. They range from 34 to 52, seam allowances are included, and the pattern pieces do not overlap on the boards. Our brochures are bilingual in French and English, printed on glossy paper and illustrated with numerous diagrams.

The patterns can be found on our shop HERE . We are finalizing the uploading of the video tutorials which will all be available by the end of the day ;)

And to celebrate the launch of the new collection, from 3 pocket patterns purchased we offer you 1 pdf pattern of your choice: choose your pocket patterns and pdf, add everything to the basket and the promo is calculated automatically (no code etc... it's easy, let yourself be guided)!

The journey we will make together is up to you to extend it, by infusing it with your inspirations and all your talent. Embroidery, cotton voile, tie and dye, precious jacquards, warm colors on plains, my desires for fabric to present this collection have taken me to the Orient, Latin countries, ancient cities, so that each time I wear my clothes my day is also colored by this inaccessible elsewhere.

And you, what journeys will you take while sewing and wearing your Maison Fauve clothes?! I can't wait to be taken into your worlds!
