A coffee-colored Mia!

When we offer you fabrics, we choose which pattern will be the one that will be sewn to represent the fabrics well. For the Jazz cotton jacquard , we had favored the pretty Manhattan jacket and Brooklyn pants duo. But it would be a shame to limit ourselves to this type of clothing for this fabric which is very soft, very pleasant to wear and has a nice drape. And since the Maison Fauve workshop is not taking a vacation for Christmas, in addition to continuing to fulfill your orders, we have made a pretty coffee-colored sewing project, and of course, it is the opportunity to take some photos and tell you about it ;)

A little mid-season blouse

I chose to sew the Jazz cappuccino fabric with the Mia sewing pattern . As beautiful as a dress as a blouse, Mia has the advantage of being very quick to sew because it has few pieces, and for a guaranteed wow effect thanks to its pretty back neckline. On this version, I chose to sew the "small back neckline", but the pattern also offers you a second version with a larger, deeper neckline.

How to wear my coffee-colored blouse

For this pretty autumnal color, I adopted a pair of medium blue jeans, in a slim version so that I could wear them with my maxi Chelsea boots (I love them, my husband hates them, I'm a fashion victim :) ). I'm wearing my Mia blouse tucked into my pants (you can't change your ways), with a belt with a beautiful buckle (a Sézane model that I really like).

The Jazz fabric will be perfect for sewing a dress with a bit of a hold, a little winter shorts worn with slightly thick wool tights or big socks and a chunky knit sweater like an Irish sweater (the cappuccino chipmunk's foot associated with a pretty camel, bottle green or heather gray knit would be really great!) but also a shirt with a false masculine air. If I had the time I would sew myself a beautiful Skyline in this fabric, its straight cut would be well highlighted and its pretty folds very easy to make in this cotton fabric which marks well with an iron.

It's your turn to imagine how to transform our jacquard, and see you soon for a new sewing project with soooo Coco Chanel accents ;)
