Loulou d'amour, the video tutorial!
Hello!
I'm back with a sewing tutorial that you've been asking for for a long time: the step-by-step guide to the pretty Loulou cigarette trousers!

The Loulou trousers are a design with lovely details: the angled front Italian pocket that can be enhanced with piping, and the faux piped back pocket. The other technical points are attaching the waistband and the invisible zip. I'll describe all these steps in a video so that Loulou holds no more secrets for you ;)

It's not a overly complicated pattern to sew, and it will be an opportunity to describe new sewing techniques that you can apply to all your projects. And for the bottom of the trousers, I offer a finish with a cuff, perfect when you want to wear your cigarette trousers cropped short ;)
Loulou is sewn in a kind of gabardine with a bit of stretch and velvet flocking (it comes from a small haberdashery near the workshop so I can't provide a link to the fabric). I'm wearing it with my pretty Lisa bodysuit from Make my lemonade, some slightly retro two-tone GH BASS loafers, and my lovely Cala hoop earrings from Ilabella. A total black look but the embossed patterns and the pocket highlighted by the faux leather piping on Loulou and the pretty cut of the bodysuit really liven up the outfit. I increasingly enjoy wearing flats, sandals in summer and loafers, or ballet flats in winter to show off my ankle (even though I'm not very tall, I find that a bare ankle lengthens the leg a bit).

I wish you a lovely sewing time with Loulou!
