The Ray Coat Video Tutorial
Hello !!!
Here it is at last, the video tutorial for the RAY coat... I know I made you wait, but now welcome to the wonderful world of the flap welt pocket, the lining with the dazzling detail, and perfect collar points ;)

For this version, I chose a lovely small check woolen fabric from Pretty Mercerie (okay, my pattern matching isn't perfectly perfect...) and a viscose lining with a paisley flower print that matches the oriental and Slavic theme of the new collection.

I'm wearing my coat with my HUSSARD jeans, a pair of loafers, my beautiful MAIA blouse in tencel diamond Meet Milk (piping matching the inside of the coat...the game of beautiful hand-sewn finishes!).

My earrings and my jeweled belt are from Sézane (I take my revenge on their accessories hee hee hee).
You'll notice that the blouse tucked into the jeans creates an interesting face-off between the pleats of the trouser pocket and the pleats of the blouse's bust. This wasn't premeditated, and it's the kind of surprise that makes me happy!

I hope the tutorial will provide you with all the necessary information. We took the time to truly focus on the most technical elements, but also to describe techniques that will serve you for all your sewing projects! And you'll see that Ray isn't that difficult; don't hesitate to practice on scraps, especially for the pocket, but the result is worth it!
The pattern is available in a printed format and ranges from size 34 to 56 with well-designed armholes and shoulder widths for larger sizes.
Happy sewing everyone!
