How to sew Tremplin cargo pants?
Cargo pants are the perfect sewing project for seamstresses who love clothes with elaborate construction work and many details: their straight cut follows the silhouette without molding the leg, the knee is drawn by dart work to better define it, the Italian pockets and flaps are embellished with a cut with a studied design, the side patch pockets do not have a puff that weighs down but folds that play the trompe l'oeil, and the bottom of the leg can be declined with an elastic under a drawstring, a buttoned tightening tab or remain straight. For a perfect fall, I recommend that you make a toile in order to properly validate the proportions of your pants (and the finished garment measurements will help you to properly assess the needs according to your height).
In this video sewing tutorial, we will go over each step of the Tremplin assembly step by step. The sewing techniques we will cover are:
- Sew pleats
- Sew an Italian pocket
- Sew rounded pieces and points
- Placing pockets
- Sew darts
- Sew a fly
Happy sewing!

c’est génial je vais le faire
Bonjour
