Rosalie jolie, an armful of flowers on my sewing

/Good morning!

A new sewing project that calls for sunshine and spring, it's perfect for facing the gray days of mid-winter. So what a joy this pretty floral fabric is!

When Julie from Avril fabrics contacted me to collaborate on her lovely fabrics, we discussed Maison Fauve patterns and knitwear. For Maison Fauve, I mainly offer warp and weft patterns, but my two special knitwear patterns are my comfortable little favorites, the pretty Granite sweatshirt and the Ludmilla dress/top duo .

I really wanted to sew my little top from the latest Sew me Ballets Russes collection, it was for the rounded neckline top version that I favored our partnership. Ludmilla is an ultra feminine model and the world of Avril fabrics, pop and colorful, matches well with the pattern. I had a huge crush on the Rosalie fabric : a cotton jersey very pleasant to sew and to wear, with its little daisy print with a golden heart, a little retro, a little pin up.

I wanted to go all out with the little girl card, and with my small-checked Sunset jacket, I find the look almost rockabilly. The Ludmilla top is wonderful because you can wear the neckline in the front or in the back; here it's rounded, but you can also sew a faux wrap top.

An outfit that makes you want the days to get longer, the cafes to reopen their terraces, and that I'll happily put on for a drink with friends! A look for women who love to dance, have fun... and sew clothes that warm the heart ;)

Have a nice day!
