Ready to experience a Fauve Romance? The new collection is online!

When I worked on this summer's collection, I wanted elegance, I wanted softness, I wanted a bit of a vintage touch, I wanted to see the sea... I created my Fauve Romance!

For this season I decided to summon the muses of my past collections in a softer universe. The Fauve Romance wardrobe will accompany the city girl from the "Empire State Of Fauve" collection on vacation in Miami, it will transport the Hitchcockian heroine of "In The Mood For Fauve" to a motel by the sea.

This time, we move away from film noir or the frenetic pace of the city to dive with delight into a sorbet-flavored universe. We follow the course of the sun, and the colors of a summer sky. The legs are bare, the body is revealed at the turn of a neckline, a low-cut shoulder line, the transparency of lace.

The new patterns of the collection

I created a dynamic look, with precise lines, research around volumes and cuts. The proportions are studied, for a less strict silhouette, less fitted lines. I want ease, comfort, flexibility. I worked around the idea of a cruise wardrobe, to be declined in many fabrics in order to be able to give each piece the look that suits you.

The Fauve Romance models can be worn just as easily in the city as on vacation, and that was really the idea I wanted to convey with this collection: summer pieces that won't have said their last word at the end of the summer.

All the patterns of course have a step-by-step video, available in the "Tutorials" section of our site as well as on our YouTube channel !

And as with every launch, we are offering you 1 PDF pattern of your choice for every 3 patterns purchased in pocket format! The offer is valid from March 21 to 24 inclusive. Simply add the 4 products to your cart (3 pockets and 1 PDF) and the free pattern will be automatically deducted.

The MIMOSA blazer

Elegant without thinking, the MIMOSA blazer is the strong piece of the Fauve Romance collection. Its straight cut is very constructed with 2-part sleeves, a small side, a fake piped chest pocket and very large rounded patch pockets whose design recalls the shawl collar and softens the slightly boyish look of this jacket with reworked volume and marked shoulders.

The COSMOPOLITAN playsuit and dress

Elegant, comfortable, feminine, with a play of cuts and darts that ensure a perfect fall and a precise line, the COSMOPOLITAN playsuit/dress will be the key asset of your wardrobe. Its V-neckline at the front and back and its pockets hidden under the yoke modernize the look. The garment has an invisible zip in the back, and the bust is fully lined for impeccable finishes. COSMOPOLITAN is also available in an easy-to-wear low-neck version, or in a large dungaree-style low-neck version to layer with all your little tops, or to wear next to the skin!

The SPRITZ tank top duo

The SPRITZ tank top duo will be the all-purpose asset of your wardrobe. The pattern includes 2 pieces:

  • A first tank top to wear over it, embellished with a Tunisian collar (which is an option), very low-cut on the neckline and armholes, for a soft and nonchalant look

  • A second tank top to wear underneath, with a classic, straight cut and a cutout at the armholes and neckline suitable for wearing a bra

Each top has perfect finishes thanks to the application of bias at the armhole and neckline, and assembly with English seams.

You can combine them, by slipping the second under the first, or wear them mismatched. The most low-cut tank top will look magnificent over a swimsuit, a bra, pretty lingerie that you want to reveal or on the skin for the most daring, while the second will be the perfect basic to wear every day.

The BELLINI blouse and shirt

The blouse that goes with everything, easy to sew and beautifully finished, that's it!

The BELLINI sewing pattern will be the essential little top in your wardrobe. Its line is soft and straight, with a play of pleats that embellishes the shoulders and back. Available in a shirt version and a blouse version, with long sleeves and sleeveless, it will be available over the seasons and according to your desires.

The DAÏQUIRI blouse and dress

A-line and rounded neckline, DAÏQUIRI will be the perfect little dress to put on to play the elegant in summer. The shoulders and back highlighted by the play of yokes and cutouts are the signature of this pretty pattern, which is also available as a blouse. Everything is thought out for impeccable sewing down to the smallest details: the assembly is in English seams, the armhole finishes are with a clean piece and the neckline finish is done with a choice of clean or bias.

As original as it is easy to wear, we never tire of creating DAÏQUIRI!

Our partners for this shooting

A shooting is above all teamwork, weeks of preparation, and people who are all invested in carrying my vision during each collection.

You know how much I care about taking our photos in truly magnificent locations (I actually filmed a podcast episode on this subject).

We are lucky to have our workshop in the south of France, close to the sea. To put this collection into images, I found the ideal setting, the Saint Clair hotel in La Grande Motte. Nestled in the heart of the pyramids of the Saint Clair complex, it is built using an architectural technique typical of the 50s and 60s on the West Coast of the United States, a "motel" inspiration that opens onto the seaside... Everything I dreamed of for our shooting!

And to adorn the models, I collaborated again with the magnificent jewelry brand Christelle dit Christensen . Christelle created a brand new line of jewelry for the summer whose shell and crustacean inspirations are totally in line with that of the Fauve Romance collection, it was like an obvious choice! I love the world of this brand, the delicacy of its creations, the embroidery that blends with the shine of the metal. Brooches and earrings are in the spotlight in our photos.

I also thank Charlène Pélut , who illustrates my creations in a unique and wonderful way for each collection, Amélie Corneille who took superb studio photos of our fabrics and buttons, Téva Quesada the make-up magician and Nicolas Astruc for his perfect hairstyles. And a huge congratulations to our models Vanina, Amanda and Christine, who are the face of this collection and join me in embodying the multiple identities of the Fauve Woman.

I wish you a wonderful discovery of Fauve Romance!
