Diabolo Fauve: the most sparkling of the summer collections!
The Fauve Romance continues in a joyful and naive atmosphere, it stops in a tangy universe: the Diabolo Fauve capsule gives pride of place to colors and materials!
Our new fabric collection borrows from the carefree spirit of the 60s with its range of pastel colors: Mint, Lemon Yellow, Soft Pink, which are revived by Sulfide Yellow and Ultra Orange.
New couture box, exclusive prints, arrival of the softest jacquard, new color of our 100% cotton gabardine, and a new material never before seen at Maison Fauve, here we go for the presentation of the Diablo Fauve capsule!
The Malibu Couture Box
A new Maison Fauve sewing box marked the arrival of both a new sewing pattern and new fabrics.
The Malibu polo shirt
Fauve Romance's sporty-chic mood couldn't do without a pretty summer polo shirt: with its reworked volume (lowered shoulder line, straight and slightly cropped cut) the Malibu polo shirt borrows from the studied nonchalance of the elegant women of the Roaring Twenties who met at the clubhouse to hit a few balls and sip a Martini. Its collar and polo placket are perfectly proportioned, and you can wear Malibu buttoned or half-open. Available with elbow-length sleeves or sleeveless, it will follow your style desires according to your choice of fabric.
The Malibu sewing pattern
Berlingot poly viscose veil
Berlingot striped poly viscose sails
This new 83% viscose and 17% polyamide fabric, made in France, is very pleasant to sew and wear: light, perfect for summer, it has a slight transparency but this will not pose any problem for sewing tops, blouses, shirts... And the most adorable polo shirts! Its surface is very slightly raised, as if embossed. Its wide acid stripes are available in Romance Pink, Mint Green, Fizz Yellow and Ink Blue.

My sewing box
The Malibu polo couture box, 4 colors
In your sewing kit, you will find the Malibu pouch pattern, the Berlingot fabric in the color of your choice and the white cotton voile, 3 pretty Wink Mat É cru buttons and all the haberdashery (iron-on adhesive, thread, Microtex needle set) to sew your pretty polo shirt. AND of course, we provide you with a free step-by-step video to help you sew your garment.
The Solaris print
My inspiration for the patterns in this collection leaned toward abstract art, and more specifically, "gradient art," which plays on blurs and color. Blending Rothko's canvases with the tones of Georgia O. Keefe's paintings, our Solaris print comes in three colors:
-
Pastel: a range of very soft tones, like an impressionist sky.
-
Confetti: This print makes me feel like I'm blinking at a field of vibrantly colored wildflowers.
-
Ultra Orange: we play on the solarization of colors, here the tones are intense, the orange burns and the turquoise green touches add relief.
Our prints are made in Portugal and printed on a soft viscose poplin. They're perfect for sewing tops, blouses, and pretty dresses.

Pastel jacquard
I absolutely love our new jacquard: it's so soft, easy to sew, woven in France, and stunningly beautiful with its large, abstract, candyfloss-colored flowers. I used it on my Métropolis jacket (I'm also in love with it...) and Julie is wearing the Cosmopolitan playsuit made from this beautiful fabric.

Lyocell laminated fabrics
This material is THE big new product in the Diabolo Fauve capsule: a twill fabric with a moiré, tone-on-tone lamé finish. Medium weight, I had fun using it in a super cute little Dandelion jacket and Grand Bain shorts set, but it can also be used to sew blouses, tops and even lightweight pants like the Belem sewing pattern .
It is available (for the moment ;) ) in Mint Green and Sulfide Yellow.

Raw cotton gabardine
After the flashes of Sulfide Yellow and the softness of Smoky Blue, 100% cotton gabardine returns in Greige: a slightly cold, very elegant sand tone, for timeless sewing.
We offer you all the haberdashery for sewing in new colors: thread, fly, but also our brand new Poppy Greige buttons on a light gold base.
Perfect for sewing jackets, shorts, and pants or jeans, I present to you here this new color with the Hussard pants pattern and I have a future Tigris trench coat in the pipeline that I can't wait to show you!
