The CSF but not only...

Good morning !

What anticipation, what emotion at the idea of ​​seeing you again. The Créations & savoir-faire show has been our IRL meeting place for years, for us seamstresses, and this year makes the moment even more special after the imposed wait that we have been through.

On the occasion of the CSF, we will be able to meet you. But not everyone can go to this Parisian meeting and the show is not always a privileged place to exchange and discover you. So I thought about how to create "a place" of meeting that would be accessible to all those who follow us and who share our love for sewing and clothing. We already have a board on the Pinterest of maison Fauve that summarizes the creations that you share on social networks, but I want to go further.

Each collection for Maison Fauve is driven by my inspirations, the wardrobe I design is embodied in a universe, it tells a story. But then it is you who write the rest, it is your turn to project your desires into it.
Offering you beautiful fashion patterns is our mission at Maison Fauve. We think of sewing as another way of looking at fashion, a more reasoned, more thoughtful approach that, above all, leaves room for creativity and allows us to express our little touch of madness.

You are passionate about sewing, creative, you love fashion and Maison Fauve patterns and your wardrobe is your playground, then you are definitely a Fauve woman!
We want to highlight your personality, your creativity, your uniqueness. And above all, we want to get to know you better, and introduce our community to your world. I suggest you "tell us about yourself", tell us about yourself as a seamstress but especially about what inspires you, makes you curious. Whether you are an artist, a creator, or just passionate about a subject, an artistic movement, to the point that it feeds your imagination, I suggest you share all of this through Maison fauve and a section dedicated to you.

If you would like to participate in these meetings, send us an email to emilie@maison-fauve.com and answer the following questionnaire:

- Tell us a little about yourself, who are you?

- How long have you been sewing?

- What do you like about sewing, why did you take the step of sewing clothes for yourself?

- What inspires you, whether it be art, literature, nature, travel?

- What fashion brand, what designer do you like?

- Have you ever felt an aesthetic shock when faced with a work, an exhibition, a book,

a garment?

- How did you find out about Maison Fauve, and who are your favorite models?

How to participate?

You have until December 15 to send us your portrait by email with 5 to 10 pretty HD quality photos of your favorite Maison Fauve sewing items but also images that inspire you (paintings, photos, drawings, clearly mentioning the credit for your images).

At the end of this period, we will portray several Fauve Women on our site and through our IG stories and these portraits will remain visible in the story on the front page of the Maison Fauve IG account.

We will choose from the team the portraits of seamstresses whose universe, photos, creativity have touched us and the number of IG subscribers is of no importance, what matters is to discover you and share. If you have links to indicate to a blog, your IG or FB account, a website etc. Mention all this to us in your email. You will be the curators of this section "portrait of Fauve women", so if you want to make us discover in turn your literary, artistic or other favorites (and that it goes in the direction of your creative approach), this is the opportunity!
