New Collection - Travel Journal - inspiration boards!
Good morning!
A new collection like a jumble of past and future trips, those we will never take, those that imagination brings us... This is what I will talk to you about throughout the season with "Carnet de Voyage", the spring/summer 2021 collection from Maison Fauve.
There is no need to go over the health situation that has affected us all for over a year, and the consequences that this has had on our lives in terms of immobility (whether physical or moral).
This past year will be, above all, an opportunity for me to see how much I miss Elsewhere, how essential escape is to my development. And this desire to go far away is not simply geographical: a museum, an exhibition, a film, a good book and of course a real journey are elements that nourish the imagination, open up the field of possibilities and confront us with others and with all that differences bring us.
So here it is, this Travel Diary will be for this season a look full of curiosity at these different imagined trips. An escape possible thanks to art, nature, photography, because what is beautiful in our hyper-digitalized world is the ability to discover and marvel without traveling.
The new collection offers a wardrobe that carries these desires: elegant and comfortable trousers, a dress/shirt for a nonchalance that does not let itself go, a blouse/skater dress duo with refined pleated details because the pleasure of shaking and dancing remains strong, and a terribly chic jacket, sublime to decline in a range of jacquards that makes you travel.
And to embody all this, we will be 4 models, like a gang of Fauve Women who meet and share their joys, their laughter, each with her own universe and wardrobe, because that is the magic of sewing and patterns: each woman will project her desires onto them!
