This pretty fabric is pleasant to sew and wear. It has a slightly wrinkled linen look and a beautiful hold , It will be perfect for sewing a soft and lightweight version of the Dandelion jacket , Grand Bain shorts and creating tops, shirts and blouses and dresses . Of average opacity, you can however wear it without worry with lingerie that will not contrast, or prefer the use of a cupro lining or in a cotton veil.

The fabric comes with a range of matching buttons and sewing threads .

Its twill weave gives it a very beautiful drape. Lyocell has a finish quite close to linen: the surface condition is a material effect that is not completely smooth, but with a falsely crumpled appearance. The mixed fibers provide a shiny, tone-on-tone lamé finish.

The reverse side of the fabric is soft but the cutting and assembly areas highlight the cut threads that make lamé special: we recommend finishing with English seams or braided with bias if you are sewing a garment without lining and you are sensitive to the surface condition of the fabrics, particularly for a blouse or top.

If you need to iron on this fabric, we recommend the G710

70 or 80 gauge universal needles

- Before sewing your fabric, you can iron it on the reverse side with steam to fix the fibers

- Overlock the edges of your coupon before putting it in the machine

- Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, preferably in a laundry net

- Delicate spin, 400 rpm maximum

- No dryer

- Iron at low temperature
